Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of Leafage, a desktop app for creating local AI image projects through your existing Codex setup.

License

Leafage is licensed, not sold. Subject to these terms and successful payment when required, you may install and use Leafage for your own creative work.

Trial and Paid Access

Leafage may offer a free trial. After the trial ends, paid access may be required to continue using paid features. Purchase terms are shown at checkout.

Refunds

If Leafage does not work for you, contact us at support@leafage.app.

Refund requests are generally eligible if the purchase was made accidentally, Leafage cannot run on your device, or the app does not materially work as described.

Please include the email used at checkout, the approximate purchase date, and a short note about what happened. We may ask for basic diagnostic details to understand the issue.

Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method. Timing depends on Stripe and your card issuer or bank. We may decline refund requests that appear fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with this policy.

Your Projects

Your Leafage project files remain on your device in the folder you choose. You are responsible for backing up your projects and for deciding what content you create, import, generate, or export.

Third-Party Services

Leafage relies on third-party services for payments, email delivery, licensing infrastructure, update delivery, and AI generation through your Codex setup. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms.

Image generation depends on your own ChatGPT subscription with OpenAI. The amount of image generation available to you, including any "unlimited" or per-week capacity and any fair-use or abuse limits, is determined solely by OpenAI and your chosen plan, not by Leafage. Any usage figures we mention, such as approximate ChatGPT Plus volumes, are informal estimates from our own testing, are not guarantees, and may change at any time as OpenAI updates its plans and policies. Leafage does not sell, include, or guarantee any amount of image generation.

Acceptable Use

You may not use Leafage to violate the law, infringe others' rights, bypass license checks, interfere with the service, or attempt to abuse trials, payments, updates, or recovery systems.

Updates

Leafage may check for and offer app updates. Updates may change, add, or remove functionality.

No Warranty

Leafage is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leafage will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities.
