Cloud Project unavailable

Restore access when Projects will not load, the service is offline, or the account has reached its storage limit.

Last updated August 25, 2026

Leafage 0.2 stores new Projects in the cloud. A missing local project folder is no longer part of the normal Project workflow.

Check the connection

Confirm the Mac is online, then quit and reopen Leafage. Cloud Projects need a working connection for open, edit, import, export, and generation.

Leafage does not support offline editing. Do not keep changing a cached canvas after the app reports that the service is unavailable.

Check the account

Sign in with the email that owns the Project. A different Leafage account has a separate Project list, storage allowance, and credit balance.

If the account status is unavailable or disabled, contact support.

Storage limit reached

A storage limit blocks imports and generations that create new assets. It should not block opening or exporting existing Projects.

Export important work before deleting assets. Moving to a plan with a larger allowance also restores storage-producing actions after billing updates.

Project changed in another window

Leafage uses Project revisions to avoid overwriting newer cloud state. If it reports that the Project changed, reload the current revision instead of forcing an older copy over it.

Import an old Project

Open Settings > General, click Advanced, then choose Legacy project recovery. Select the older Leafage Projects folder—or one individual Project folder—then choose which Projects to import.

Leafage creates Cloud Projects and leaves the original folders unchanged. If recovery does not find a Project, confirm that you selected its original folder or the parent Projects folder. You can also import any .leafage archives you exported earlier with Import on the Projects screen.
